Offline Filtration and Condition Monitoring Enhances System Protection

When it comes to system protection, in-line filtration alone is not enough!

Fluid contamination can have devastating impacts on equipment and hydraulic-driven operations.

In fact, contamination is responsible for the majority of premature equipment failures!

Filter systems and diagnostic solutions are designed to support existing in-line filtration, strengthen your system defenses, and reduce cost.

Using offline filtration and diagnostic tools to your arsenal can enhance your asset protection strategy:

  • Supplement in-line filtration and increase system protection
  • Reclaim oil which has been heavily saturated or contaminated, saving resources
  • Ensure that new fluid meets desired cleanliness targets before filling
  • Gather and monitor valuable fluid condition data
  • Enable predictive maintenance by providing advance warning for contamination-related failures

Schroeder Industries is a global provider of high-performance, high-efficiency filtration solutions, including our suite of diagnostic tools and off-line filtration solutions. Our experts can work with you and your team to determine a treatment plan for your hydraulic fluid and guide you towards the optimal products and solutions for your filtration needs.

‘New’ Oil Doesn’t Mean Clean Oil!

Did You Know? New oil can be as much as 6 ISO levels dirtier than modern hydraulic system standards!

Unless your ‘new’ oil is certified at a specific ISO Code or saturation level, you should never assume that your new oil is clean enough for your valuable equipment. In fact, refills of hydraulic and lubricating oil are a common vector for huge influxes of damaging contamination!

Using a filter cart, kidney loop, or other offline filtration unit to assess the cleanliness of incoming fluid and filter it prior to filling is a gold standard of fluid contamination control practices.
