Position Summary:

Position Summary:
It is the responsibility of the Assembler, Filter Products to pull required material to assemble all types of filters and filter sub-assemblies, according to the Schroeder Bill of Materials. Utilizes various tools and equipment to assemble these products to manufacturing specifications.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assembles all required products and inspects material for compliance to manufacturing specifications using the work instructions, work orders, sketches, engineering drawings and instructions.
- Sets up and operates hydraulic and hand presses.
- Uses various hand-tools, power-tools (such as pneumatic torque wrench, screwdriver and electric drill) taps, and glues for assembling, wiring cleaning, rustproofing and handling filters and components.
- Inspects final assembly and/or product to ensure quality meets all specifications.
- Works in other assembly support functions including but not limited to washing, testing, and repairing.
- Utilizes company-wide computer system to check on stock, access engineering drawings, check on work order status and other job-related manufacturing transactions as required.
- Disassembles filters returned to SI for credit, as required.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Works overtime as required.

Position Summary:
The Materials Group Supervisor is a hands-on position responsible for planning, coordinating, and directing the operations and everyday efforts of the employees assigned to the Shipping, Receiving, and Storeroom Departments. This includes organizing and monitoring the receiving, handling, and storage of material from vendors and/or manufacturing departments. This position is responsible for leading the workflow of the materials team, and coordinating efforts with all departments, including but not limited to all manufacturing departments, production planning, and purchasing. This includes managing inventory through the SAP ERP System.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Plans and schedules work among employees to meet departmental work schedules. Utilizes equipment and materials to meet defined specifications and quality standards in the receipt, storage, movement, and shipment of raw and in process material, and finished products.
- Assigns employees to jobs. Trains, motivates, and evaluates performance of the team in all related responsibilities. Maintains discipline and recommend remedial action when necessary.
- Plans and develops Shipping/Receiving/Storeroom policies, procedures, work instructions and determines the layout of the work areas and equipment needs.
- Coordinates and manages all activities for the material movement within the ERP system. Works closely with all relevant departments to ensure that the ERP system is fully functioning to meet the business requirements.
- Troubleshoots quantity discrepancies and goods movement errors with manufacturing, receiving, warehouse, shipping, and inspection personnel.
- Serves as the point of contact for all inventory process concerns and audits; directs, plans, and facilitates physical inventory each year; coordinates the materials group preparation and performance of physical inventory.
- Participates in the review and disposition of obsolete and slow-moving inventory.
- Prepares monthly reports for ERP KPI’s including but not limited to goods movement errors, overall inventory accuracy and summary/highlights of activities related to inventory. Makes recommendations and strives to continuously improve the process.
- Assists in meeting the planned shipping schedule consistent with all safety and cost requirements, carried out within all established policies and procedures set forth by the Company and our Customer guidelines.
- Works closely with the Customer Service and Production departments to assure shipment of materials and finished products as well as the movement to and from various production areas. Coordinates with Customer Service on any special packaging or routing instructions issued by our customers.
- Manages the response to Customer Service’s inquiries concerning shipments and deliveries to customers.
- Responsible for implementing and maintaining 5S in all materials group work areas, and maintaining all equipment such as storage bins, shelves, racks, material handling and packaging equipment, etc.
- Responsible for a safe work environment. Must inspect work areas on a continual basis and take appropriate steps to address any issues.
- Performs other related duties as necessary.

It is the responsibility of the Maintenance Person to perform scheduled preventative maintenance on Schroeder Industries LLC’s (SI) mechanical and electrical equipment and systems, maintain inventory of spare parts, as well as scheduling and recording of maintenance and repairs. Updates repair program and works on production as necessary.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Performs scheduled preventative maintenance on SI mechanical and electrical equipment and systems according to an established program.
- Performs facility maintenance as required. This includes being responsible for all machines and equipment being in optimum operational condition consisting of changing of all oils, coolants, greasing’s, checking of all electrical hydraulics, pneumatics, components and cleaning, as well as checking functionality when finished.
- Will work on production jobs in any of the manufacturing areas as needed.
- Maintains and updates maintenance programs, schedules and records of work performed.
- Maintains file of equipment service manuals and inventory of spare parts.
- Maintains facility maintenance which includes but is not limited to new hook-ups, replacements, removals and set-ups of existing and new machinery including electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic hook-ups.
- Perform other related duties as necessary.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
- Minimum of one years’ technical school training or on the job experience in mechanics and proven mechanical aptitude is preferred.
- Experience in manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Willingness, desire, and ability to successfully complete training and education deemed necessary for the successful performance of all job responsibilities.
- SAP experience is a plus.
