A space efficient filter design, cartridge elements and manifold mount filter kits are designed to be incorporated directly into the customer’s manifold.</p><p>These designs are non-bypassing to ensure maximum protection. All elements are designed with high collapse (3000 psid) center tubes to ensure that the filter element can sustain the fo​rces placed upon during operation. That feature is especially critical because the cartridge filter elements and manifold kits do not have differential pressure indicators to warn of an overly contaminated element. The only indication that these machines are in need of element service is the reduction in performance.</p><p>Cartridge elements fit directly into a customer’s manifold. Schroeder Industries provides the machine drawings required to use the cartridge element in the manifold. The customer is responsible for machining the manifold and mounting the element. Upon shipment, the element is shipped with a plug for the element port to keep the element in place and seal the manifold closed. Cartridge elements are rated for flows up to 20 GPM.</p><p>Manifold filter kits are a similar concept, but allow a larger element with less machining. Schroeder Industries manifold filtration kits are supplied with a filter element, a bowl and the machine drawing for the element bushing, port configuration and bowl threads. Rather than the element being completely encased in the manifold with a plug, the filter element is encased in the bowl that Schroeder Industries provides. Schroeder Industries manifold filter kits are rated for flows up to 30 GPM.</p><p>Manifold cartridge filtration and filter kits can allow customers to easily adapt current manifold configurations to incorporation filtration on machines.
