Inside Sales Development Representative
WORKING HOURS: Office
REPORTS TO: Customer Service Manager
The Inside Sales
Development Representative position is designed to develop the skill sets required
to take on higher level roles within the organization’s sales group. The Inside
Sales Development Representative will learn to performs various tasks related to
sales support duties for the Sales group at Schroeder Industries LLC.
DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
Provide technical and administrative support to internal and external
customers of all Schroeder products that will include but are not limited to:
Develop technical and/or commercial information for customer quotations and presentations.
Respond to customer technical inquiries regarding product specifications, applications, and performance.
Resolve product and/or workflow issues in assigned departments and across department lines.
Interact with distributors, customers, and internal personnel to identify and help solve problems.
Process corrective actions as issues arise.
Develop an understanding and knowledge base of all product lines, policies, and procedures.
Work with product management to resolve product performance, applications, and how to process warranty issues to the mutual
satisfaction of the customer and Schroeder Industries.
Complete technical product training and presentations as required for in-house, and in the field.
The Inside Sales Development Representative must be able to travel,
including driving and on occasion domestic travel within North America.
This travel is to develop an understanding of the requirements needed to
support field staff, distributors and customers and is required.
Perform other related duties as necessary.
REQUIREMENTS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES):
Associates Degree in a science, engineering, or other technical field, or;
At least one (1) years of applicable work experience and/or training, or;
Equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge of fluid power/hydraulics is preferred.
Experience in the fluid power industry and/or manufacturing environment is preferred.
Certification in one of the approved International Fluid Power Society certifications within two years of starting this position.
Telephone based customer service experience is desirable.
An understanding of ERP software, SAP experience is a plus.
One (1) years experience with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Experience with SharePoint is a plus.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, multi-tasking and organizational skills.
A valid driver's license is required.
A valid passport is preferred.
This is a development position,
therefore, any person in this position understands and agrees that Schroeder Industries
may require the Inside Sales Development Representative to relocate within the USA to take
a higher level position in the field within the Sales or Product Management groups to support
our company sales objectives.
