It is the
responsibility of the Marketing Supervisor to lead & supervise the marketing
department, effectively supervise assigned staff and provide recommendations in
the development of marketing procedures protocols, work instructions and
budgets. In addition, this
individual is responsible for the effective communication of the Schroeder
marketing message to all internal and external partners using all available
forms of electronic media, and printed media recognizing that Schroeder
Industries specializes in providing advanced filtration and fluid conditioning
DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
Works with the Product Management team in the
development and maintenance of product introductions / product group plans & the
fiscal budgets for the Marketing Department.
Assures that scheduling and executing press releases takes place.
Develops advertising campaigns and oversees web site content and development.
Develops trade show plans and demo materials with input from various senior
management and product managers.
Assists the VP Sales & Marketing with annual
budget, develops appropriate marketing plans with supporting strategies to
strengthen Schroeder’s market position.
Assures that the marketing group coordinates,
plans, edits and print catalogs on a periodic basis.
Plans, writes, and/or edits technical papers.
Establishes relationships with editors of relevant publications and sees
that Schroeder Industries submits papers for publishing.
Oversees management of Schroeder web site (content
and appearance). Assures product, personnel, and literature updates are
completed on a timely basis. Assures
that all supporting web content is managed, cataloged and filed accurately and
appropriately using easily accessible SharePoint® tools or common, established
internal data storage locations. In addition, works with the product specialists
to track, document and interpret web activity.
Coordinates the branding of product lines.
Oversees and/or develops marketing collateral,
including, but not limited to, presentations, tradeshow materials, catalogs,
brochures, advertisements, press releases, and price lists.
With direction and input from
product managers, sales representatives, senior management and the
customer service team, is responsible to plan, write, edit, produce, publish to
the web, and distribute, inventory, and re-order all product literature, service
and instruction manuals, parts list drawings, binders, and binder tabs.
Performs other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES):
Bachelor’s degree in
Marketing, Communications or Business related field is required. A graduate
degree is preferred.
5 + years’ of
experience in a business to business marketing role, including industrial
products is required.
2 + years’ of
experience in a supervisory role is preferred.
Experience in the fluid
power industry and/or manufacturing environment preferred.
2 + years’ of
experience with Google Ad word program development.
Experience with Web
experience is required. Graphic experience is preferred.
management skills related to: product costing, general accounting, sales and
marketing, information technology, production and inventory control and quality
assurance are preferred.
5 + years’
experience with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Adobe
